Tom's Rabbit:A True Story From Scott's Last VoyageEditionsReviewThis is a delightful story of Tom Crean’s search for a suitable place for a rabbit in the extreme cold on board the Terra Nova. The story is well told, suitable for 4-7 year olds. The illustrations are excellent and atmospheric. In a note at the end explaining the historical context, it is pointed out that Crean accompanied Shackleton on his epic voyage in an open boat to South Georgia, after the Endurance had been sunk. - review by Johnny de Falbe |
