Skin TightEditionsReviewI read this thriller, because Rubio came back from lunch one day singing its praises. He also drew my attention to several passages from the book, and instead of having that non-plussed feeling you often have when someone tells a joke, I was able to oblige Rubio with some genuine laughter. Armed with my own copy of the book, I went on to discover for myself the crazy characters in Hiaasen's Florida - my favourite in this book is the crooked surgeon Rudy Graveline - and have long since been a Hiaasen devotee. Warning: if you've ever had plastic surgery, this could be one to avoid. - review by Dan Fenton |
