Review
To my mind the best Beatles book of the (usually not very wonderful) lot. Most profitably read with a pair of headphones and a stopwatch, it takes the reader through all the recordings and points out (often to the second) many felicities that might otherwise be missed: doo-wops buried deep in the mix, mischievous bass-lines, unexpected harmonies, etc. - review by John Wyse Jackson (Seán)
