Philippa SpensStaff ProfileLike many people who have worked at the shop over the years, Philippa was also a customer before she became our book-keeper and took over the challenging tasks (among others) of decoding handwriting, and attempting to pay foreign suppliers… However, she is almost certainly the only member of staff whose grandfather was one of John Sandoe’s first customers – we really are a family business, after all.
